Estimate EV charging energy, cost and time from battery capacity and charge levels. Include efficiency losses, your electricity price and a session fee.

How it works

Battery energy = usable capacity × (target − starting percentage) / 100. Supply energy = battery energy / (efficiency / 100). Cost = supply energy × tariff + session fee. Time = supply energy / average supply power.

Example: charging a 60 kWh battery from 20% to 80% adds 36 kWh. At 90% efficiency, 40 kWh is purchased. At THB 4.50/kWh, the energy cost is THB 180 before session fees.

Tariff and efficiency are examples; enter your station’s actual terms. Time uses average power, not the advertised peak, and does not simulate tapering near full charge. The entered session fee still applies when no energy is added.

Frequently asked questions

Why is purchased energy higher?

Some energy is lost in equipment, cables and battery management. Adjust efficiency using measured data.

Does this support time-based billing?

This uses energy-based billing. Add time-based or idle fees separately under the provider’s terms.
