Privacy policy

CalcThai takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

What we do not collect

The numbers you type into any calculator never leave your device.Every calculation runs inside your own browser, so we cannot see and do not store your salary, your debts, your weight, your height, or anything else you enter.

There are no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, phone number, passport or ID number, or any financial details.

Everyday tools and My workspace

Text, names and QR content are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server for these operations. Workspace goals, tasks, notes and favourites are stored in this browser’s localStorage on this device. There is no account or cross-device sync. You can edit, remove, export and import your data. Exported files contain your saved content, so keep them somewhere you control. Clearing site data may remove the local workspace.

What we do collect

General usage statistics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how often. What it records is aggregated and does not identify you — visitor counts, device types, pages viewed. We use it only to improve the site.

Questions sent to the AI assistant. When you use the ask box, your question is sent to Cloudflare's servers for processing along with the content of that page. We keep questions and answers briefly, keyed by a hash of the question, so that a repeated question can be answered from cache. We also keep your IP address for no more than one hour, solely to limit how many questions can be asked and to prevent abuse.

Please do not type personal or confidential information into the AI ask box.

An email address, if you choose to give one. If you enter your email to unlock unlimited file saving, we store that address along with the date and time, a country code, and which page you submitted it from. We use it only to tell you when a relevant tax rate or government fee changes. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact details below, and giving an email is entirely optional — every tool works fully without it.

Anything you send through the "Tell us" box. If you send feedback through the box at the bottom of the page, we keep only the message you typed, the topic you picked, which page it came from, the language, a two-letter country code and the date and time. The box deliberately has no name or email field, so that it does not become a store of personal data. We keep only the path of the page, not anything appended to the link, which may contain figures you entered. Your IP address is used solely to limit how many messages can be sent per hour; it is hashed, expires within an hour, and is never written into the stored message. We use these messages only to decide what to build or fix next. Please do not type personal or confidential information into this box.

Affiliate links

Some pages carry a box of links at the foot of the page pointing to outside shops or providers. If you click through and complete something, this site may earn a share from the other end, at no extra cost to you. Those boxes are always labelled before the links appear. The share has no effect on the figures the calculators produce, and we do not rank one provider above another. Once you follow such a link, the destination collects your visit under its own policy, usually using a cookie to record that you came from here. We receive no personal data from that process — only aggregate reports of how many transactions occurred.

Cookies and advertising

This site is funded by advertising so that it can stay free to use. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising provider.

Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads relevant to your interests based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off interest-based advertising atGoogle's ad settingsor manage cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies needed for the site itself to work — remembering whether you chose light or dark mode, for example — are stored on your own device and are never sent anywhere.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade user data with anyone. The external providers involved in running this site are Cloudflare, for hosting and AI processing, and Google, for analytics and advertising. Each has its own privacy policy.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, there is usually nothing to act on — but if you have a question or wish to exercise a right, please contact us below.
