Work out commission, payment and service fees plus VAT on those fees to see the actual payout, profit per order and margin, using the rates your platform gives your shop.

How it works

Sale after discount = price − shop-funded discount. Fees = discounted sale × (commission + payment + other fees) + fixed fee. If rates exclude VAT, add 7% VAT on the fees; if included, VAT is fees × 7/107. Payout = discounted sale − fees incl. VAT. Profit = payout − product cost − packing − shop-paid shipping. The 7% VAT rate applies until 30 September 2027 under the cabinet extension.

Example: a THB 500 sale with 8% commission and 3% payment fee, both excluding VAT, has THB 55 fees plus THB 3.85 VAT, THB 58.85 in total. Payout is THB 441.15; after THB 250 cost and THB 10 packing, profit is THB 181.15, a 36.23% margin.

Fees vary by platform, category and programme and change often, so use the rates in your own seller centre. The tool does not fetch live rates and excludes the shop's income tax, withholding tax, advertising and returns.

Frequently asked questions

Why add VAT on fees?

Commission and service fees are VAT-able services. If a platform quotes rates before VAT, the amount deducted is higher than the headline rate. VAT-registered shops may claim input VAT with proper documents.

Should platform-funded discounts be entered?

No, enter only shop-funded discounts. Platform-funded discounts usually do not reduce the amount used for your payout, but check each campaign's terms.

Why can a profitable order still mean a monthly loss?

Fixed costs such as ads, wages and rent are outside per-order profit. Use the per-order profit in the break-even calculator to find the minimum sales.
